This is an update regarding the transition to secondary school for your Grade 8 student.

• Teacher recommendations for course levels will be completed during the month of January. Student course selection will occur in February (instructions and specific dates will follow).
• Guidance staff and representatives of the W-O Student Council (SACPAC) visited our school on January 11, 2018 and shared information about diploma requirements and school life.
• Students applying to Magnet Programs (International Baccalaureate, Integrated Arts, Fast Forward), will know the status of their application by the end of January/beginning of February.
