Our Grade 7 and Grade 8 students will be introduced to myBlueprint, an education, career/life planning program for students. myBlueprint has been 12 years in existence and is used by 350 school boards.
myBlueprint has a number of components. For this introductory phase, students will respond to a number of surveys that will explore their learning styles, personality types, interests, and knowledge needed for career goals. Students will also set goals, and create portfolios to showcase their learning and growth.
At secondary school, our students will continue using myBlueprint to select courses, track graduation requirements, record important experiences and achievements, and plan for post-secondary opportunities.
