Thank you to everyone who participated and donated to our first ever Forest Glen Read-A-Thon. Students, parents and teachers worked together to raise $3000 to support our Home reading Program and additions to our classroom libraries. There was a great sense of community as everyone worked together to support the activities – door decorating, our Readathon Activity Day, guest readers, Book Swap and our Prize Assembly. Our Prize Assembly was an exciting time – every student who participated was treated like a rock star and went home with a prize for participating. It was very uplifting to see students cheering and high –fiving each other as they made their way up to choose their prize – what a positive display of respect and caring. Great job Falcon Family.
