Ways to Help
- Volunteer this Tuesday June 2nd from 9-11am
We plan to dig, weed, shape and edge the Front Gardens of Forest Glen. No garden experience necessary…just enthusiasm!
If you have pruning shears, shovels, edging shovels, rakes, gloves, wheel barrows – bring them along. Just make sure you have your name on them.
Please let us know you are coming forestglenvolunteers@gmail.com.
- Donations
Specific plants we are looking for are Clematis, Morning Glories, Lamb’s Ear, Day Lilies, Purple Cone Flowers, Brown Eyed Susans, High Bush Cranberry, Holly, slow growing Cedar tree. Along with any other plants that are easy to maintain that the children would enjoy identifying or learning about. These plants can come new or split from your garden.
Donations of bagged soil would also be greatly appreciated.
Let us know what you are able to donate forestglenvolunteers@gmail.com. Please drop donations off at Forest Glen by 8:30am, Tuesday June 2nd.
Thank you. We look forward to giving Forest Glen a new look!
