This is an update regarding the transition to secondary school for your Grade 8 student.

· Teacher recommendations for course levels have been completed and will be available on February 15. Students will be shown how to access the recommendations and the process for selecting courses.  Instructions will be sent home so families can view the recommendation and complete the course selection process together.

· Guidance staff and representatives of the W-O Student Council (SACPAC) visited our school early in January and shared information about diploma requirements and school life.

· Students who are enrolling in the International Baccalaureate or Integrated Arts programs will also be involved in the course selection process on Friday, February 15, 2019.
